2. General

We only process personal data insofar as this is necessary to operate this website and to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This website does not set any cookies and does not use analytics or tracking tools or social media plugins.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by IONOS. No server log files are stored. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.

4. Enquiry form

If you send us an enquiry via the form, we process the data you provide: name, email address, phone number (optional), preferred dates, number of people, details about your dog (name, breed, age, special characteristics), your previous experience, your goals and your message.

This information is not stored on the website but sent to us by email. We use it solely to answer your enquiry and to prepare a possible booking. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures).

Our email inbox is operated by IONOS. We delete your enquiry once it has been fully dealt with, at the latest after 12 months, unless statutory retention obligations apply (for example in the case of a booking).

5. Contact by email

If you write to us directly by email, we process your details to answer your message. The same principles apply as for the enquiry form.

6. Fonts

The fonts used on this website are stored locally on our server. No connection is made to Google or other third-party servers when you visit the site.

7. Encryption

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption, recognisable by the "https://" in your browser's address bar. Data you send via the form cannot be read by third parties.

8. Your rights

You have the right at any time to:

  • access the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)

A simple email to info@groomandstay.com is sufficient.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Roma, www.garanteprivacy.it.
